Ironwood...pen blanks, knife scales, craft wood... If you see some you'd like, just fill in the "Contact" form at the bottom of this page. I'll get back to usually in the same day. Thanks.
SOLD.......I 30, $20.00. Ironwood (olneya tesota) natural root. Measures about 4" on the largest cut end x 3" on the tip. About 15" long. Some guys take these and just polish 'em down until they shine and use them as natural nature's sculpture. Very pretty when done this way.
SOLD.....I 31, $20.00. Ironwood (olneya tesota) natural root. Measures about 7 1/2" wide x 4" on the tips x about 12" long. Like the above piece I-30, natural pieces like this one shine up really well and make their own art.
Sold........thank you..........I 32, $35.00. Ironwood cylinder turned to 4" thick and 7" long. Has a few hairline cracks/checks. Ends look pretty good, pics show it all fairly well.
I 8, $9.00. Three pen blanks, measures 5 1/2 to 6" long. These are pretty nice but ironwood is prone to small checks/cracks...usually fixable with a little CA as you turn 'em. Measurements are taken from the shortest side. You can see that some of these have a "diagonal" cut end.
I 11, $9.00. Three ironwood pen blanks, measures 3/4 x 3/4 x 5 1/8. These are bandsaw finished so no grain will jump out at you but they are nice blanks. As with all ironwood, there may be very thin cracks/checks that should be fixable with some CA. The really checked rough pieces I sell as "casting/filling" blanks.
I 14,, $7.00. Three ironwood pen blanks, measures 3/4 x 3/4 x 5 1/8. These are bandsaw finished so no grain will jump out at you. As with all ironwood, there may be very thin cracks/checks that should be fixable with some CA. The blank in the middle of these pics has a crack on one end that I think could be repaired with CA and maybe a little dust. I dropped the price a bit to 9 to 7 for this reason. The really checked rough pieces I sell as "casting/filling" blanks.
I -15, $9.00. Three ironwood pen blanks, measures 3/4 x 3/4 x 5 1/2 to 6 1/4" long. These are bandsaw finished so no grain will jump out at you but they are nice blanks. As with all ironwood, there may be very thin cracks/checks that should be fixable with some CA. The really checked rough pieces I sell as "casting/filling" blanks.
