Here are a few Manzanita burl knife handle blocks and scales. Guys, you probably know that manzanita is very hard and is prone to cracks/checking. It's the nature of the wood. I've tried to not list pieces that can't be fixed with a little CA but if a crack is going to ruin your day......maybe let these go. ; )
My pics are taken dry and wet to show the grain. The first dry pic will be the "worst" side showing bark pockets, cracks, etc......if you like the first side, you'll love the second. : )

MZK19, $15.00. Manzanita burl block, has a very few thin checks, easily "healed" with a drop or two of CA. Measures 1 x 1 5/8 x 5 1/4" long.

MKB10, $12.50. Manzanita burl block. Measures 7/8 x 1 1/4 x 5 1/4" long. PIcs are taken misted. When you get them, they'll be a dull red color but a little sanding and finishing will make that grain pop. Manzanita is beautiful wood.

MKB13, $10.00. Manzanita burl unstabilized block. A very nice block with minimal flaws, measures 3/4 x 1 1/2 x 5" long. Note the hairline crack starting above the "1" and going diagonally up to about the "3". Some CA in there should cure that. PIcs are taken misted. When you get them, they'll be a dull red color but a little sanding and finishing will make that grain pop. Manzanita is beautiful wood.
